Hawzah News Agency –Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said continuation of the siege and bombing of the Yemeni people did not indicate a serious determination to advance the political settlement to Yemeni crisis and to insist on a destructive military approach, which will result in the destruction of the great Yemeni country and instability in the region.

The continuation of the coalition's military attacks on Yemen under the silence of the international community, the uncontrolled sale of weapons to the aggressors, adoption of a biased approach and double standards in the international community in the face of seven years of brutal aggression against the Yemeni people has made it even more difficult to achieve fair peace, Khatibzadeh said reacting to recent air strike conducted by aggressors coalition against residential areas and civilians in Yemen.

Those states which have provided arms for the aggressor forces in Yemen and caused killing of Yemeni women and children by providing them with bombs and weapons of mass destruction, are complicit in these crimes and should respond to public opinions, he added.

Khatibzadeh said that the continuation of the siege and bombing in Yemen indicate lack of a serious determination to advance the political settlement to Yemeni crisis and to insist on a destructive military approach, which will result in the destruction of Yemen and instability in the region.
